Sister is off to another country for a two-year teaching contract so her cord business is put on hold...unless of course if I pick up where she left off...hmmm...but that's not gonna happen since I don't have a talent for this...but anyway, this is one of her creations...

Spring Iris Bouquet

Everything in weddings these days are no longer conventional, even the bouquets.  A friend of sister had such a wedding and commissioned my sister to make bouquets for the bride's maids.  So sister made her origami spring iris flowers and made bouquets out of them.  She also made mini bouquets for the flower girls, but unfortunately she was not able to take its pictures.

These bouquets won't wilt and can be stored in a cool dry place, away from the sunlight to preserve the color of the paper.  These bouquets also don't put a dent to your budget, if you know where to look for it, or if you can find somebody to make it for you.

Candies in a Rice Box

I got tired of putting candies in gift wrappers or paper bags...so this year I decided to put them in rice boxes/chinese take out boxes...and what do you know kids and adults alike loved it...

Boycotting The Holidays

We decided to boycott the Holidays this year...we wanted to take it slow and savor the moments of no work...we only got a few gifts for our people in the province...so this year it's was not so hectic for us...
