Brown Paper Packages

I've always wanted to try krafting paper for my gift wrapping projects...so this year I did...well it's actually last year...the simple brown paper makes it possible to just put on any embellishments I want...since it's Christmas and I can't think of Christmas without glitters...I mainly used Christmas tree ornaments and garlands to put color and happiness to my brown paper packages...hehehe

Tis the Season...

Being the Creatively Moody me, I tend only to do posts when I'm not too lazy...or if I've got nothing better to do like today...so I noticed that my last post was almost four months ago...hehehe...so I thought well maybe it's about time to update this blog especially now that it's already the Christmas season...

I haven't started with my Christmas shopping...actually, I was thinking that I won't be giving out gifts this season...BOYCOTT!!!especially with what happened in the Visayas...but then again, when my sister and I went out to bazaars and to Divisoria...well, who can blame me...

Anyway, these are just some really, really simple wraps that even the children can do...hehehe...

And those are not gift cards...those are card boards with recipients' initials on them...I don't want the lavender soap going to my friend Jayson...hehehe...

Personalize Them

I don't use gift cards with my gifts if I can help it.  But if I have difficulty in remembering which goes to whom, I try to personalize the gifts without using any gift cards.

This one is made by a friend who got inspiration from the above gifts.

This one is from a previous post Bright as a Feather.

There's no rule as to the materials used, as long as you get to personalize your gift and make it more unique that the recipient will remember it long after the gift is opened.

Wine Anyone?

I know, it's been ages, but sister and I have been busy with other stuff.  Now, well we're still busy but I took some time off from my other work to do this post.
Since Christmas is just around the corner, I thought it best to write about what most people are doing or will be doing after they've completed their Christmas shopping...gift wrapping.  I always like wrapping gifts my way.  I don't like using conventional wrappers when wrapping my gifts (if I can help it), although I succumbed to the temptation (but only out of laziness) once in a while.  I like wrapping my gifts differently since it adds a certain flair to my gifts and it makes people receiving them give that extra smile because of the effort I put into those wrappings.
Sometimes, I stick to a theme but more often than not I wrap things up in whatever is handy and whatever suits my whimsy.  Just a dash of creativity and a lot of love in wrapping gifts can go a long way.
For me, wine is a convenient gift item when I don't really know a person.  It's "safe" (meaning that any person will probably appreciate it) and it's useful (meaning that any person can either drink it all by himself or when with friends).
And to me wrapping wine is very simple.  No real trick there actually, some paper and some ribbon and viola! It's done.

Look out for more posts on gift wrapping in time for the holidays!!!
